About the product

The tropical Parthian tree is named after ancient country of Persia (Iran), the Parthian Kingdom. To extract the tree sap,

triangular notches are cut on the bark of the benzoin tree. When the sap solidifies, it is used to extract the deep red and

aromatic benzoin essential oil.

The aroma of the benzoin essential oil contains notes of vanilla with a hint of honey, warming and sooths the soul. In ancient

Persia, it was called an evil-avoiding tree as it was said to make "diseases rest in peace".
Aside from being used to calm emotions, benzoin essential oil was also traditionally used for respiratory and urinary care.

It can be used in essential oil blends as a fixative.       

       

Suitable for : Face  : for dry and sensitive skin

                        Body : suitable for use all over the body

 

How to use : - Dilute 1 drop with 10 drops of carrier oil, and gently apply to face or areas of discomfort

                      - Dilute in 1:1 ratio with a carrier oil and gently apply to the head, chest, stomach, lower abdomen or joints

​Blends well with: rose, sandalwood, rosewood, cinnamon and anise essential oils to create synergistic effects
